Q-DEES REVIEW

Hi Girls!

My previous post about Q-dees (You can see it here: LINK) has a good traffic but I haven't update about Mr Pocoyo school progress. So today, I will share with you guys on what happened after Q-Dees enrolment.

If you look at my fee calculation (in my previous post), you'll see that annual fee  for one kid is approximately RM4400.00 and this is for half day (up to 12pm Mon-Fri), which means if you are enrolling your kid for learning and daycare, you'll have to pay more. For family who has few kids and in the category of middle income, this is pretty expensive.

When my kid was in Q-dees, he was 4 years old and he studied there up to November 2013.

In 2014, he was 5 years old and we felt that he supposed to be enrolled in the school which is bigger just like a normal school to avoid culture shock when he's entering Year 1. The fact that there's no small primary school in KK with only 2 or three blocks, unless he's going to the International School made me realized that small school like Q-Dees wasn't what we wanted.  All the Chinese public schools in KK are big, and the one that we planned for his year 1 is even bigger than some of the high schools. Anyway, it seemed like we had no other choice because we always want a good school with complete facilities and most importantly it is close to our house, and school with proper carparks is always the main thing to be considered.

Anyway, the kindergarten that we chose wasn't the nearest to our house but still convenient enough for sending and pick-up, and the happiest thing was his favourite cousin Ah Boi was one of his classmates.

Fast forward to December 2013, we successfully enrolled him in TADIKA TZU YU, I was touched and so thankful that the school administrator happily placed them in the same class. Bless her!

Tadika Tzu Yu is one of the oldest kindergarten in Kota Kinabalu, a very well managed kindergarten, although the furnitures in the classrooms aren't new but that pre-school is humongous. It has everything that most parents could expect for.

For graduation or concert nights, unlike Q-Dees, it has its own hall inside the school compound. The kids will have their assembly in the hall, for PE (or PJ - Pendidikan Jasmani), it has a huge designated area, even if it's raining, the kids can have games in the gigantic hall. Awesome! And... just like the primary school that we've pre-selected, this pre-school school has a huge carpark.

Our son completed his 2 years pre-school in Tzu Yu and it was good. We are so grateful cause everything was fine when he was schooling there.

This was during their orientation day. He was very happy.

They were going to the school surrounding, still during the orientation day.

My baby's graduation day!!

The cousin, best friend and classmate :D

I'm so proud of them!

If you are here to check about Tadika Tzu Yu fees, here's the fee:-

Year 2014, it was RM190.00 per month.
Year 2015, it was RM195.00 per month

That mentioned fee does not include after-school care. They do have after-school care program and during that years, it was like double of the halfday day rate.

So if your here in 2018, the price maybe RM210. I'm just guessing.

If you have any question about Tadika Tzu Yu, feel free to comment below. Thanks for dropping by!!

Enrollment at Q-dees

http://fayjesselton.blogspot.my/2017/11/q-dees-review.html

Hello..

I've been not actively blogging lately because Mr Pocoyo just started his school (again) and I've enrolled him at Q-dees. He has been on and off from playschool for the past 2 years because of HFMD infections.

I'm quite happy with the new school because Mr Pocoyo loves it. "It was fun mummy." That was what he told me without asked on his first day, so I hope that he'll enjoy the classes till his last day here.

I've a high expectation of the school too as the principal is one of the trainer for Early Childhood Education Program (Kursus Asas Asuhan Kanak-Kanak). Anyway, I choose this school not because of who is the principal but because of it's not too far from where we live, save the fuel and save the time too ^____^ Besides that, we always wanted to enroll him in a  school where he can learn basic mandarin as part of preparation to chinese primary school.

Another good thing is the school looks well-organized, clean and not too crowded :D

BUT..

BUT..

BUT..

Because of I'm not rich.. I think that the school is pretty expensive. Don't laugh if you think that it is pretty cheap because you might be a millionaire (sobbbbsssss)

Expensive T_T   At the end of the year, the total of amount paid will be MYR2543.00  (approx USD786)

I didn't expect that the first payment could reach above one thousand ringgit. I should pay MYR1233 during the registration but I only had MYR500 plus in my purse. So I paid partly first, the balance will be paid tomorrow uhuuuuu.. *loser*

I paid RM540 and here's the note from the teacher.. payment request lol

some of the materials from Q-dees

Facilities at Q-dees preschool:
Gym
Swimming Pool
Computers
Playground

A small reward for not crying at school (RM1.00 only to play this, haha)

My daily schedule become busier after this little boss started his school again. I've to wake up earlier to prepare his breakfast. He has to reach there at 8.00am and finish at 11.30am. Within these few hours I'll be in the home office and preparing his lunch in between. I'll take him to eat outside if I'm extremely busy, sometimes I can't cope. Anyway, we try hard not to have outside meals  frequently especially for Mr Pocoyo.

I'm satisfied with this school so far. In his previous schools, the teachers were less attentive and they didn't really care whether the kids drinking enough water. Besides frequent flu and twice HFMD, I could see a thick urine color and there were many times he had constipation too. Bad preschool :(

In order for me to be still 'functioning' (lol), there are few things that I've done minimally; texting with girlfriends, facebooking etc etc.. my instagram becomes slowgram too bahahhahaa!
